More about the artist

For over two decades – almost three, in fact – they have been celebrated by both audiences and critics, in Sweden and around the world. At the forefront is trumpeter and composer Goran Kajfeš, one of the most prominent and acclaimed figures in Swedish jazz in the 21st century. With brand-new music in hand, they’re making their way to the stage at Victoria.

Oddjob is constantly reshaping jazz, boldly venturing into uncharted sonic territory – in their own compositions as well as in interpretations of everything from traditional Swedish herding calls and Weather Report to Clint Eastwood film scores. Their playful approach to music is perhaps most evident in the widely praised children’s project Jazzoo, which earned the prestigious Grand Prix Du Disque in France and was broadcast on Swedish Television’s children’s channel.

With five of Sweden’s most accomplished musicians on stage, this multi-Grammy-winning band is always in motion, always evolving. Oddjob’s music is always unmistakably their own: exciting, innovative, introspective and extroverted, with a boiling groove and a telepathic interplay beyond the ordinary.

On stage:
Goran Kajfeš – trumpet
Per “Ruskträsk” Johansson – saxophone
Viktor Skokić – bass
Daniel Karlsson – piano
Lars Skoglund – drums

Picnic theater

This is a picnic event, or as we like to call is: Picnic theater. That means that you may bring your own food and drinks to the event.

It doesn’t matter what you bring – take-away pizza at one table is followed by oysters and caviar at the next. Bring what you feel like, and don't forget to bring glasses and cuttlery!

Please note that you may not bring food if you have tickets for the balcony, only drinks and snacks.
