Violentango arbetar utifrån konceptet expansion, och använder tangon som språngbräda för att sedan utvidga dess horisonter till en ny version av genren. Deras nyskapande sätt att improvisera och leka med tangons rytmer och klang har gjort dem till en betydelsefull del av den nya musikscenen i Buenos Aires. De förtrollar publiken med en kraftfull och oemotståndlig kombination av musikalitet, teknisk förmåga och ett unikt sound, levererad med attityden av ett rockband.
Gruppen bildades 2004 och har sedan dess släppt sex album och genomfört oändliga turneer både nationellt och internationellt. De har bland annat spelat på festivaler som Glastonbury Festival, Vive Latino, Canarias Jazz, Virada Cultural, Jazz al Parque, Nisville Jazz Festival Savassi Jazz Festival, FIT festival internacional de teatro.

This is a picnic event, or as we like to call is: Picnic theater. That means that you may bring your own food and drinks to the event.
It doesn’t matter what you bring – take-away pizza at one table is followed by oysters and caviar at the next. Bring what you feel like, and don't forget to bring glasses and cuttlery!
Please note that you may not bring food if you have tickets for the balcony, only drinks and snacks.
