Martin Svensson has now passed 60 and is discovering that age comes with great opportunities. He’s wiser and finally has more time for parties and travel. But he’s also starting to notice he’s spending more and more time at the local health clinic...
“60-year-old male. Essentially healthy.”
– Martin’s medical record on Sweden’s 1177 Health Portal
It’s time to reflect on life’s big questions. What really matters? What do I want? Can you joke about prostate cancer? Or should you just be grateful for being “essentially healthy”?
Martin Svensson is one of Sweden’s most cherished stand-up comedians. Originally from Skåne and now living in Helsingborg, Martin started out in amateur theatre before making his stand-up debut at The Tivoli in Helsingborg in February 1997 — an instant success. Since then, he has toured across Sweden with his popular solo comedy shows, performed at clubs, and worked as a host and MC. Martin’s humor is based on sharp observations from everyday life and is often described as smart, kind, and “above the belt.”
His insightful and relatable comedy resonates with audiences all over the country, sparking both laughter and reflection. One of his greatest strengths is connecting with the audience — reading the room and tailoring each performance to the crowd. It's no wonder people keep coming back. Fun fact: Martin used to work as a nurse.

This is a picnic event, or as we like to call is: Picnic theater. That means that you may bring your own food and drinks to the event.
It doesn’t matter what you bring – take-away pizza at one table is followed by oysters and caviar at the next. Bring what you feel like, and don't forget to bring glasses and cuttlery!
Please note that you may not bring food if you have tickets for the balcony, only drinks and snacks.
