Teo Collori& Momento Cigano band (SI)
At the heart of the music is guitarist and composer Teo Collori, whose path took an unexpected turn after a cinema visit where Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris awakened his passion for gypsy swing. Already established as a versatile session musician and well-known on the jazz scene, he gathered a group of like-minded, gifted musicians and formed his own Hot Club band.
From the acclaimed debut album Hot Club Piran (2015), which was named “Album of the Year” by Muzikobala, to the latest release Capitano Della Noche (2023), the band has developed a truly distinctive sound – playful, sophisticated, and always brimming with energy. Along the way, they have collaborated with Slovenia’s national TV big band as well as the legendary Vlado Kreslin, and today their concerts are regularly sold out.
