In 2022, Ronnie received the Hans-Erik Dahlgren Scholarship for nearly three decades of work as a bandleader and guitarist behind some of Sweden’s most prominent artists—earning a reputation as one of the country’s most respected musicians.
His musical journey began in his teens when, at sixteen, Ronnie dropped out of school, ran away from home, and threw himself wholeheartedly into music. Since then, he has collaborated with many of Sweden’s top artists as a bandleader, musician, and arranger. Names like Meja, Joe Bonamassa, Robert Wells, Loreen, Darin, Jakob Samuel, and Danny Saucedo are just a few examples.
In 2021, he released One Take at Sonika Studios, which includes a cover of Little Richard’s iconic hit Lucille. The track has been streamed millions of times on digital platforms and is one of the few covers of Little Richard’s work that has been shared by his family.
Throughout the fall of 2023, Ronnie released several new songs, including Kärleken är Blå, Publiken satt kvar, and Lovsången, which together have been streamed over 100,000 times and are in regular rotation on Swedish Radio P4.
