
Nadja Eriksson is a versatile musician with a long career spanning song, jazz, pop, choral and art music. She first made her mark in the 1990s with her own songs on Swedish television and radio, released the award-winning album Vid ett ensamt piano (At a Lonely Piano), and has since composed extensively across a wide range of genres. On stage she brings both energy and sensitivity, and her music has a rare ability to touch and move audiences.
Premiered in the summer of 2025 at Skillinge Teater, Passion has grown out of a sheer joy of life. The concert is a vivid example of Nadja Eriksson’s gift for crossing musical boundaries and creating encounters where classical and contemporary, rhythm and lyricism, flow seamlessly together.
On stage she is joined by Malmö Strings, a flexible chamber ensemble acclaimed for its ability to move across genres and to bring fresh perspectives to both classical and newly composed music. Together with Björn Claeson on flute, saxophone and accordion, the ensemble shapes a distinctive soundscape with passion and vitality at its heart.
