Marius Lien is one of Norway’s most promising and distinguished young musicians – a guitarist, singer, and songwriter who has quickly made a name for himself on the Norwegian blues scene. With his distinctive sound, where powerful vocals and bluesy guitar solos meet influences from Americana and West African music, he seamlessly blends tradition with innovation.

Despite his young age, Marius has already established himself as one of the country’s leading blues artists and become part of Norway’s musical elite. At just 24, he has received several prestigious awards, performed repeatedly on national television, and won a Spellemann Award (the Norwegian Grammy) for his acclaimed debut album The Woodland Songbook Part 1, released in 2023.
