More about the artist

The Swiss band The Next Movement continues to impress with their boundless artistry and groovy neo-funk and soul. They are now back with a new album and an accompanying tour! Led by the brilliant singer and drummer J.J. Flueck, alongside Pascal "P" Kaeser on bass and synth, and guitar virtuoso Sam Siegenthaler, they offer explosive grooves, top-level musicality, and an amazing vibe!

The Next Movement has rightfully earned the title "Europe's must-see funk band" thanks to their deep groove and impeccable sense of rhythm. Their live performances at Leverkusener Jazztagen (Rockpalast WDR TV broadcast), the Black Sea Jazz Festival in Georgia, Saulkrasti Jazz in Latvia, Jazztage Dresden, Enclave de Agua Festival in Spain, and the Prerov Jazz Festival in the Czech Republic have quickly established the funky trio as one of the hottest acts on the scene, gaining fans all over the world.

Despite being a trio, their synergy is so tight that their sound fills the room as if they were a quintet—or even a sextet. The energy they exude is simply impressive, and combined with their flawless production and skilled performances, they repeatedly prove their musical mastery.

On stage:
J.J. Flueck – drums, samples and lead vocals
Pascal "P" Kaeser – bass, synth and backing vocals
Sam Siegenthaler – guitar and backing vocals

Picnic theater

This is a picnic event, or as we like to call is: Picnic theater. That means that you may bring your own food and drinks to the event.

It doesn’t matter what you bring – take-away pizza at one table is followed by oysters and caviar at the next. Bring what you feel like, and don't forget to bring glasses and cuttlery!

Please note that you may not bring food if you have tickets for the balcony, only drinks and snacks.
