On the pedestrian street in Malmö lies the charming Victoria Theater, a 100-year-old entertainment venue with an exciting history. The theater has taken a variety of shapes over the years; for example, a silent cinema, revue theater, concert hall, and a building occupied to prevent demolition. The Victoria Theater is today a modern cultural center with a wide range of performances and offers something for most audiences.

Do you have a booking request?

We host over 150 public events each year. We curate our entire program ourselves and do not rent out the venue to external organizers. Booking inquiries can be sent to info@victoria.se.

Note! We receive a huge amount of requests and are unfortunately only able to respond in case the proposal is relevant for booking.

Capacity

Our intimate concert venue, in addition to giving a great scene, also has access to a café, lobby (great for audience mingling), and three small backstage lodges in connection to the stage. The maximum capacity is 169 seated persons, 124 seats in the salon and 45 seats on the balcony, but the venue is flexible and can easily be rearranged for both smaller and larger events. With seats arranged in rows, without tables, the salon can accommodate 145 persons + 45 on the balcony. For standing concerts, the maximum capacity is 300 persons.

Load in and tech

Load in of instruments and stage material is through the main entrance at Södra Förstadsgatan 18. Your vehicle can be parked right in front of the main entrance during load in. There is no doorbell, but knock hard on the glass, and we will open. If we can’t hear you, call your floor manager or technician and we will open.

Photography, audio and video recording

Audio and video recording for commercial or public use is not allowed during our events without special permission. If you are an artist/organizer and want to make an audio or video recording during your concert, please contact Edin Bahtijaragic well in advance, preferably at the time of booking.
